Loud shirt Day raises $10,000 for Hear and Say
Barry Bull, his family and friends, raised $10,000 at a fundraising concert Sunday August 27th 2017, proceeds to Hear and Say to support deaf kids. 160 people turned up for live music and inspiration at the Mooloolaba Surf Club giving 10,000 reasons why it was a worthwhile community event. It costs $10,000 a year for 5 years just to teach one child to hear and speak.
Barry’s grandson Archer was born was born with severe hearing disability and is wonderfully supported by Hear and Say. This photo says it all … ‘Little Archie with his cochlear implant on stage with his brother Hudson and grandad, not only hearing the music but singing!’
