When the past dies, watch that the future doesn’t die with it.

Within my mentoring networks I witness the suffering of many independent family businesses, forced into unfavourable exit strategies and not knowing what to do next. I can relate to this as it is now over five years since we closed Toombul Music due to emerging digital technology that changed the way we buy music forever.

Once the dark storm clouds of cyclone ‘Internet’ separated, only two things mattered to me. Do things I was good at and really enjoyed doing.

I needed to be focussed however, because when the past dies, you must watch that the future doesn’t die with it.

So I started my own record label compiling Music for Cruizin’ CD’s for Sony Music (which last year won an ARIA accredited Gold album Award), and wrote my fourth book,Take the Bull by the horns. As I enjoy telling stories and playing my vintage Fender guitar, all this led to my best idea yet…..to present a live musical performance of my book memoirs.

if you have been following my recent Bull-etins then you know all this. What you don’t know, is my inaugural public performance of my new show I call Unexpected Hero, is next Sunday afternoon March 22nd, at the Caloundra Powerboat Club, The Esplanade, Golden Beach, Sunshine Coast. Booking $20, Ph 07 5492 1444 For those that can make it will see a huge transitional change in my work, and those that can’t…..well this is what you will be missing.
